From satellite media tours to covering presidential visits, Laurie Cooper of Cooper Plus Communications has over 25 years of broadcast experience.
Starting as a reporter with CBC Radio in Yellowknife in the early 80s, Laurie has worked with local, national and international broadcasters as a reporter, producer and director.
Laurie’s particular expertise and passion is working with crews to produce great live television on location. In the past two years, Laurie has coordinated a number of live remote broadcasts from various locations in British Columbia, including the first ever live winter broadcast from the top of Whistler Mountain, a venue for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
